First Win

Congratulations Hamilton West Boys and girls Cross Country teams on a big victory over the Lawrence squad.  You can see how far the West Cross Country program has come, it is really nice to see the young talent on the team develop their identity as the older guys and girls hold down the fort.  We know that we need to continue to grow to compete you need to push yourself on each drill and each run to get better.  It is easy to give in when our legs get tired, we get winded or cramp; you don't always feel strong at practice.  Just know that the winning runners compete every day, we find that energy in meets from practicing with intensity.  Develop goals and work to achieve them.

Doug showed the ability to dig deep by catching a Lawrence runner, essentially winning the race.
