Goal Reached

At the first meeting this year I set the goal of a .500 record and while I am not sure that it resonated with everyone on the team yesterday was a big day for the program.  Wednesday, the team was given a day off to enjoy it.  Reflect for a second, if you recall after an 0-2 start it seemed the the team was headed down the same path we had been down before.  I stood in front of the team and talked about setting goals for ourselves and having dreams, I talked about how it often becomes difficult and that many of us are all to willing to quit, to make excuses, to say "I don't care".  All too often this is what happens when things get to hard and we have the rest of our lives to regret it.  But this didn't happen.  While many on the team had their ups and downs this year - we made it.  We worked through the adversity and I'm proud of all of you.
